SolidBam-Tillotson Cup in the ADAC VT-Kart-Trophy Südwest 2022

With the start of the ADAC Kart Rookies Cup Südwest in 2020, the Kart Club Trier (KCT) is reviving an old club tradition. He writes another kart series. With the restriction to pure four-stroke engines, the participants should be able to enjoy motorsport as cheaply as possible.

The new series includes the ADAC Kart Rookies Cup, the ADAC Kart Cup, the SolidBam Tillotson Cup and the RAVENOL Longrunner Cup.

For the ADAC Kart-Rookies Cup, the KCT procured 30 Honda GX200 with 6.5 hp. The participants will be provided with the engines on the day of the race for a small fee (€55). The engine is sealed, only the driving performance of the participant counts. In addition, a standard tire from Beba is driven, which lasts for a season. The participants start in two age groups (8 – 10 and 10 – 13 years).

If the participants have outgrown the rookie age and still want to do motorsport at low cost, then the ADAC KartPokal is the right choice. Here the participants between the ages of 13 and 18 also drive sealed Honda GX200 engines provided by the KCT.

And for those who like it a little faster, there is the SolidBam Tillotson Cup . From the age of 12 you start in the junior classification, from the age of 14 in the senior classification with the new Tillotson RS 225. The RS 225 has 15 hp and weighs only 17 kg, which alone provides a decent boost. Incidentally, the ADAC Rookies Cup and SolidBam-Tillotson Cup in 2021 had a women's quota of over 30 percent.

If you like to drive longer, the RAVENOL Longrunner Cup is the place for you. The race day ends with a 3-hour race. There are three classes: Series, Improved and LongrunSolo60. The base engine is the Honda GX390. A start is possible in the series class and Solo60 from the age of 13. In the Improved class it is 14 years of age.

For 2022, the Longrunner Solo60 class has been newly introduced. This is where long-distance drivers train their condition. A driver alone for 60 minutes under racing conditions on the kart. A challenge for man and machine alike and a stepping stone, for example, to recommend yourself as a driver for assignments in the German Team Championship (Germany's most well-known long-distance championship).

Other dates of the series are:
Individual races have an entry fee of €90, the long runners pay €180 for their 3-hour appearance.

The tracks in Walldorf, Nussloch, Uchtelfang and Urloffen are used. Further information is available at www.kart-club-trier.de
